The book, “The Nasranis”,  gives elaborated descriptions on the heritage of the Nasrani community, and the cultural practices special and unique to the community, their intended meanings, etc., so that the future generations, not only learn and be proud of themselves, but also follow our traditions as we have continued from generations to generations, for over 1,950 years!

A brief history of the beginning and spread of Christianity by the Apostles in different parts of the world, and of the Holy War (Kurishu Yuddham) of Europe are also given in this book.  The book gives a global view of the vast and diversified nature, culture and history of the Indian sub-continent, and various religions the Indian people follow.  It also gives an idea how the ancient traders from Greece, Rome, Alexandria, the Arabian countries, etc. had relationship to the small Southern state of India, Kerala, for their Spices like Black Pepper, Cardamom, etc., and how those traders and their cultures affected the local people in those times!

The book is written with great wishes that the Nasrani community, regardless of their Denominations or current places of living, still follow the path St. Thomas showed, of love, peace, honesty, service to others, and faith in Jesus Christ, as well as be proud of their history and heritage!   Also guide and encourage their coming generations to be prideful and enthusiastic about their culture and practices!!!
